Mark Davis Madarang Pablo is Senior Policy, Planning and Research Analyst at the Department of Justice and Public Safety, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Contributing Writer at the NATO Association of Canada. Previously, he worked as Defense Researcher/Analyst at the Armed Forces of the Philippines from 2013 to 2015; Research Analyst at Stratbase – Albert Del Rosario Institute for Strategic and International Studies from 2016 to 2017; Planning Officer III at the Department of the Interior and Local Government from 2018 to 2020; and Assistant Managing Editor at Population and Security Online Magazine in 2023. He holds a Master of Science in Strategic Studies, with Certificate in Terrorism Studies from Nanyang Technological University – Singapore, and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
